With Maxell's original Electro Fine Forming technology, the Coil-on-Chip(tm) RFID system is a RFID system featuring a precision, uniform thickness antenna coil, directly mounted on the surface of a tiny 2.5mm-square chip.

When compared to conventional products, the Coil-on-Chip RFID system posses lower cost of ownership, small in size, and less deterioration through contact features.

Furthermore, the Maxell system can be attached on or embedded in various small objects such as medical equipment, blood pack unit, Angiography catheter, test tube, etc.
